Hi! I’m Amy…

I was born in Toronto, Canada, and raised by a father who was a naturally good listener and a mother who loved to bring people together. Our family’s path led us to Ohio where I graduated from The Ohio State University with my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and my Master’s degree in Community Mental Health Counselor Education in 2008.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a Certified Addictions Professional. For the past 14 years I have practiced in both inpatient and outpatient settings, providing individual and group counseling to clients with a wide array of mental health issues.

Outside of work I love cooking and baking for my family and friends (ask me about my favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe - you’ll be glad you did). My dog Maggie takes me for walks every day and I’m always looking for a book I can’t put down.
